GuineaBounce — Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 2, 2026
GuineaBounce ("the app", "we") is a jump-rope workout tracker for iPhone and
Apple Watch. This policy explains what data the app handles and where it goes.
Data that stays on your device
- Workout data — jump counts, session duration, pace, calories,
milestones, goals, and settings are stored in a local database on your device.
- Health data — with your permission, the app reads heart rate
and writes workouts to Apple Health (HealthKit). Health data never leaves your
device and is never sent to us or to any third party. We do not use HealthKit
data for advertising or marketing.
- Motion data — device and AirPods motion is processed on-device
to count jumps and is not stored beyond the workout metrics above.
Optional iCloud sync
If you enable iCloud Sync in Settings, your workout sessions are stored in your
personal iCloud account so your own devices stay in sync. We have no access to your
iCloud data. You can turn this off at any time.
Data collected by third-party services
- Crash reports and analytics (Firebase Crashlytics / Analytics,
Google LLC) — crash traces and anonymous usage events (e.g. which screen was
opened). Not linked to your identity.
- Advertising (Google AdMob) — the free version shows banner ads.
With your consent (App Tracking Transparency and, in the EEA/UK, the GDPR consent
form shown in the app), the advertising identifier may be used to show more
relevant ads. If you decline, ads are non-personalised. Subscribers to
GuineaBounce Pro see no ads at all.

Purchases
Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Apple. We receive no payment
details. Manage subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Your choices
- Withdraw ad-tracking consent: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Change EEA/UK ad consent: contact us to have the form re-shown, or reinstall the app.
- Revoke Health access: iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.
- Delete your data: deleting the app removes the local database; Health data can be
removed in the Health app; iCloud data can be removed in iCloud settings.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect
personal information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by a new effective
date on this page.
